Ownership Statement

This page states who owns and operates KeepPulsing and who owns what around it. It sits alongside our other legal pages: the Terms & Conditions set the rules for using the service, the Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled, and the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy covers cancelling and refunds.

1. Who owns and operates KeepPulsing

KeepPulsing is a clinic management software business owned and operated by Muhammad Awais Naseem as an individual (sole proprietor) in Pakistan. "KeepPulsing" is the trade name under which the software, the website and the related services are provided. It is not a company or a separate legal entity; the business and its owner are one and the same.

2. The KeepPulsing name and brand

The KeepPulsing name, logo, branding, website and associated product identity — including KeepPulsing Homeopathy — are owned and used by the KeepPulsing business operated by Muhammad Awais Naseem, subject to any rights of third parties.

3. Software and other materials

Subject to the third-party rights described in section 5, the following are owned by or licensed to Muhammad Awais Naseem, trading as KeepPulsing, as applicable:

  • the KeepPulsing software, application and source code;
  • the website, its design and the application's user interface;
  • logos, branding and product names;
  • documentation and original written content;
  • product concepts and other original materials created for KeepPulsing.

These materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, resold, or used to create derivative versions, except where KeepPulsing has authorized it or applicable law permits it.

4. A subscription does not transfer ownership

Buying a KeepPulsing subscription gives a clinic the right to use the service as set out in the Terms & Conditions. It does not transfer ownership of the software, source code, website, branding, logos, documentation or any other KeepPulsing intellectual property.

5. Third-party software, services and trademarks

KeepPulsing is built with, and runs on, third-party software, libraries, frameworks, infrastructure and services. Their owners keep their intellectual-property rights. Those most visible to customers are:

  • Safepay, which processes online payments from clinics in Pakistan;
  • Paddle, which handles online payments from clinics outside Pakistan and acts as Merchant of Record for those transactions;
  • WhatsApp, which KeepPulsing opens with a message already written, for the user to send from their own account;
  • the remedy catalogue in KeepPulsing Homeopathy, whose remedy names and abbreviations are drawn from William Boericke's published materia medica;
  • the Figtree typeface, used on this website under its open-source licence.

KeepPulsing does not own Safepay, Paddle or WhatsApp, their technology, payment infrastructure or trademarks, and naming them here describes how KeepPulsing works with them, not an endorsement or partnership. Third-party product names, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.

6. Customer and clinic data

Ownership of KeepPulsing's software is separate from the information customers put into it. KeepPulsing does not own clinic records, patient records or other content a customer enters.

  • Customers keep their rights in the data they submit, and using KeepPulsing does not transfer ownership of it.
  • KeepPulsing receives only the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display and secure that data in order to provide the service.
  • Customers are responsible for the data they enter and for having the right to enter it.

How that data is handled is set out in the Terms & Conditions and, for personal data, the Privacy Policy, which is the primary page on the subject.

7. Clinical authority

KeepPulsing is clinic management software. It helps a clinic run its work and keep its records; it claims no authority over diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment or any other clinical decision. Those remain the professional responsibility of the healthcare practitioners who make them.
